A discovery visit of the institution has recently been introduced, for lovers of wine and history, which can be done in one day and which is focussed on the wine producing activities.
Becoming imbued with the spirit of the institution and learning about the particular care we take in producing our wine is still the best way the appreciate the quality of our products...
Description of the visit
The programme can be adapted on request, and of course includes a break for lunch following the choice of the visitors, a prestigious hall - the Chamber of the King - can accommodate you for the organisation of your meal.
- Discovery visit of the new fermenting cellar of the Hospices
Opened in 1994, these are modern facilities at the service of traditional wine-making methods.
- Visit and wine tasting in the former wine-making storehouse
This is the last leg of the day's visit. As well as the former wine-making storehouse, the visitors will discover the cellars of the Hôtel-Dieu which remain one of the most favoured places for tasting each new harvest on the eve of the auction. The tasting of five of the Hospices wines is accompanied by a commentary from one of the vineyard managers.
- Visit of the new fermenting cellar or the former wine-making storehouse, accompanied by tasting of 1 to 5 wines produced on the estate (maximum 40 people)
